They have a democratic congress man on camera taking bribe money.
I see both the november elections going up in smoke or an opportunity to solidify a win.
We must be united in demanding his resignation, he must be forced to leave the party, and on every talk show the following talking point must be pushed.
"We call for Mr. Jefferson to resign. We hate to pre-judge, but these allegations are egregious and unlike the Republican Party, Democrats will not stand for graft and corruption in our ranks."
Unless this happens, the republican noise machine is going to blur it up, ramp up the immigration arguement, and come november nothing will change.
The man is on camera. The money was found at his home. The difference between left-wingnuts and right-wingnuts is that when our people screw up, we call them on it and kick them out. We have an opportunity to contrast what makes us different.
But if we fail, we only show how we are the same.
